An update on LightningChart .NET’s compatibility with the latest version of .NET
LightningChart .NET is compatible with .NET 8
With the release of .NET 8.0 in November 2023, we wanted to announce LightningChart .NET’s compatibility with the latest .NET version.
Regardless of the LC .NET project you may work with, you can always copy the code from an older version example and paste it to a new .NET 8 project. Technically, this means that you can use LightningChart 10.5.1 release Demo, extract the example you like, and copy the code to new a .NET 8.0 project.
With regards to the DLLS (library), LightningChart .NET v.10.5.1 is also compatible with .NET 8.0. Here’s a step-by-step video that explains how can you create an LC .NET project in the latest .NET 8.0 version:
As an additional note, technically, users could reference the LightningChart libraries not only from NuGet but also from the installed folder on the local driver, for instance: C:\Program Files (x86)\Arction\LightningChart .NET SDK v.10\LibNET4.
